ABBA FATHER

Do I separate longing for Abba from longing for Jesus? I’ve always somewhat done that. This morning in reading Roman’s 8:15, i rejoiced that I could call out to Abba and I did experience His embrace. Silly I know, but then I thought, no I love Jesus more. Jesus has been the One with whom I find love and comfort. Jesus is so very personal to me—He is my Bridegroom and I am His beloved. But as soon as I realized they were One and I could enjoy the powerful presence of their love, I experienced Abba and Jesus both embracing me and their unity filled every longing of my soul. And Who led me to this understanding? He who is the Spirit of Holiness, only through Him could such joyful revelation be given.

Holy, Holy, Holy is God Almighty, three in One.
